Car Care: Maintenance Tracker is a free car maintenance app for iPhone. It reminds you when service is due, by mileage or by time, whichever comes first, and turns your mechanic's receipt into a service record. It also keeps each car's service history, fuel log, trips and costs.

Car Care is for drivers who want oil change and service reminders from a free app with no subscription, and for households that keep a separate history for each car. It also suits anyone moving their records from a spreadsheet or a paper logbook into a digital service book.

Car Care is made for cars. Each car you add, gasoline, diesel, hybrid or electric, gets the maintenance items that fit its powertrain.

Yes. Add as many cars as you own to Car Care, and each car keeps its own maintenance, fuel, trips and costs.

Yes. When you delete a car in Car Care, all its records and documents go with it for good. To keep its history, export a backup file first.

Yes. You set each car's powertrain, and its maintenance items follow it. An electric car gets items for its electric drive, such as the high-voltage battery, and a hybrid gets those as well as the engine items. A diesel gets the diesel particulate filter and AdBlue.

Yes. Car Care reminds you when an oil change or any other service is due, by mileage or by time, whichever comes first. The reminders cover 36 built-in maintenance items, such as engine oil, brakes, tires and the timing belt.

Yes. Car Care starts each built-in item from a recommended interval for the car's powertrain, by mileage, by time or both. You can set your own interval for each car to match the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual or your mechanic's advice.

Yes. When the built-in list does not cover an item, add it to Car Care and give it its own reminder, by mileage, by time or both. You can also hide the items your car does not need.

Yes. When you log a service, each item it covers starts its next reminder from that service's date and mileage. A scanned receipt does the same for each job Car Care recognizes on it, such as an oil change.

Yes. Car Care shows each maintenance item as up to date, due soon or overdue, with the miles and days left until its next service.

No. With trip detection on, Car Care adds the distance of each drive it records to the odometer, so your mileage reminders stay on time without typing a reading.

Yes. Car Care reminds you of each renewal by date, counted from the last one you log. You can keep the insurance policy or the inspection report with the renewal you log.

Yes. Car Care shows your costs and prices in the currency you pick, and you can change it at any time. Every car uses the same one.

No. Car Care has no account to create. Your records stay on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud.

No. Car Care does not sell your data or track you across other apps or websites. What you log is kept on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud.

Your records sync through your own private iCloud. Install Car Care on the new iPhone, signed in to the same iCloud account, and your cars appear with their services, fill-ups, trips and documents.

Yes. Car Care syncs your records through your own private iCloud, and you can also export all of them to one backup file and import it again whenever you need it.

Yes. Car Care works without a connection, so you can log a fill-up at a station with no signal. Only a scan and iCloud sync need a connection.

Car Care sends the receipt you choose to an EU-based AI service to be read, and the document is never used to train AI models. The scan becomes a service record, and the scanned copy stays with it on your iPhone and in your private iCloud.

Car Care records your location only on trips, and trip detection is off until you turn it on. Your trip routes stay on your iPhone and in your own private iCloud and are never sent to our servers.
